I became a massage therapist a little later in life at the age of 42 after 25 yrs in the service industry. After having my first very deep (proper) massage which took me 4 days to recover from on a physical and emotional level too.
I never realised the importance of the power of touch and just how much stress and emotional trauma and toxins my body was holding on too and the release was a turning point in my life.. It was then I really started looking after my body and my health and when my passion for massage and yoga began.
As well as all my different massage qualifications I also did my level 1 and 2 as a Reiki healer. The healing power never goes away and I am told I am a natural healer which comes through when I massage. I love giving massage and helping people with their aches and pains and stiffness and have made some lovely friends along the way.. I am so grateful I did my training in Thai Yoga massage which realigns the body, improves flexibility and calms the mind and is an amazing treatment to give and receive with long lasting effects.
I recommend everyone should try this to improve their health and well being on every level. I am now due to start my Yoga Teacher training early next year to help improve more people’s lives physically, emotionally and mentally. I know that every day I do Yoga is a good day.
